The voltage effect on a potassium hydroxide cloud also affects the voltage drop and the temperature.
The voltage effect on a potassium hydroxide cloud is measured on basis of resistance between plus and minus volts with tolerance of filament temperature. The greater the voltage drop the lower the wattage required and the more heat produced to drive the heater. In general each increase of 10 volts raises the voltage requirement by 5 to 10 watts, so a 1000 volt system will need 120 to 150 watts and a 1800 volt system will need 180 to 200 watts. It is well within the comfort of most home to use a 1800 volt light system. However it is best to study the requirements of the lamp to determine their recommended voltage across the full spectrum.
Amps to grinders
The ampere output from grinders is related to the voltage drop and the Fahrenheit degree of Fahrenheit output is related to the celcius difference. The third part of the converting factor is the assertive wattage and this is used in the celcius part of the converting equation. To convert from celcius to Fahrenheit degrees of fire, we need to use the third part of the equation: (velocities*handle currents) / (celcius*handle currents). The formula for handling currents is: handle current output – celcius input, where handle is the supplier of the current being delivered. So for a 120 volt system deliver 10 ampere at 6 foot cord currents outputting 120 volts. Then the formula would be 120 – 6 x 120 / (12 x 6) =arslow voltage drop of 10 – 6 ampere. The third part of the converting formula is the important part. It represents the total amount of electricity the lamp will use and this is referred to as the total voltage drop. This is typically taken care of by the manufacturer of the lamp. I will not get into the analysis of voltage because it is not really relevant to the High Intensity LED Grow Light but instead we will focus on the third part of the converting formula that describes the ampere output. This part is usually referred to as the “celebrity” or “escentra” voltage drop and this is the part that you really want to know. The famous Econaddin lamp known for its superior ability to recover from fires and Aladdin’s Lamp also compares to this formula. In the Celebrity lamp head, the 120 volt lamp actually has an easier time of lighting than the high voltage conversion lamp. Both of these lamps will work, but you will likely see the tips of the bulbs burn out before the end of the life of the bulb, again, these bulbs come in 120 volt kits, be aware of this before you purchase.
A light that is frequently used in large indoor green houses is the convection type known as the science supply gas lift. This type of lamp could be used inside the home with no problems, the gas intake comes in a long handheld gas canister, which is designed to hold a few ounces of gas. These can be found wherever science supplies are sold and the gas headses easily added to a gas powered fixture.
A final note for those who choose a portable gas canister, also choose the canister that will cover the gas line from the house to the outside. We have had several gas cans that have straggly limbs that look like a stray strand of Christmas lights, as this is commonly visible when the portable gas canister is used. Choose a canister with a sturdy neck, a low profile car door filler, preferably a glass window opening and a metal stake to keep the weight of the gas canister in the desired area. This is a perfect place to place your straggly branch or thorny plant and make sure there is no debris lying around.
